I think I answered my own question. Do any companies accept a DOT physical completed by an independent doctor (seperate family physician) and eye doctor? Or will they view the results as suspect. My results have been sent to the State of Indiana for a med card.
Thanks for sharing and caring!

Some small companies will let you get one wherever. A majority of the larger ones will send you to their physician.

Thank you DirtyBob
Since nothing is guaranteed would it be a prudent move to leave my f/t day job and go ahead with a PDI or TDI for 3 weeks. I have told SNI that my driving record speaks for itself when they see it (clean) and have been at my current job for 8 years in November.
I had a chat with Wil-Trans today. A friend who is a team driver for Fedex said she questions 3 months with a driver/trainer and the pay is ?????. I know newbies have to pay their dues/time.
I realize patience is a virtue...give it to me now?

Will companies still send you for a physical if you already have your medical card??

If you change jobs, it's not uncommon to have two medical cards. I guess you can have more if you are a job hopper.

What was the point of having the school I went to send you to a doc for the physical and the drug test?? If you just have to get another one.

Some companies will IF the doctor/clinic is on their "approved" list ex. Swift
Some leave it to you to get certified, like the company I work for.
