    Relax, do lots of listening and watching. Listen to the advice given by the instructors, not the know it all students, you'll know the ones I'm talking about. Enjoy the experience and good luck to you!

    Ignore the people who act like they know it all. Good for them but you will learn it in your own way. Try and do your pretrips every morning with the same buddy or two. You will end up helping each other and more than likely have someone to talk to once you both get out on the road, when you're not driving of course. :biggrin_25525:

    Don't argue about BBQ, College Sports, or Politics. Stay out of Orange Mound, Frayser, and generally any other areas other than Cordova, Germantown, Collierville, or Arlington.

    DON'T stop in Raleigh or Bartlett.

    Good BBQ Places: Central BBQ on Central Ave over by the fairgrounds. Rendezvous downtown, Corky's, and the Germantown Commissary.

    Other good food: Huey's Burgers, The Flying Saucer, Dyerburger, Blues City Cafe, Blue Plate Cafe, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and some other local joints.

    Overall, don't travel alone. No offense to you, but from your profile picture you look like you could easily get into some trouble and Memphis is NOT the place you want that to happen. It's a tough town and people don't play. It's my hometown, so I'm very very familiar with it.

    Good luck!

    Thanks LSAgent..Appreciate it...I learned long ago when I travel I never go out alone..I can do some damage if I have to..but Im more of a Lover..I like peace and quiet..and brotherly love..LoL..and I try real hard to not find trouble..Id like to just go to class, and hang at the hotel, Maybe go to the store or something a couple times..but I dont have any intentions of doing much running around..=}

    Also Im not as outragous as the profile pic leads one to believe, I was going to a Kid Rock Concert last summer, and I needed a haircut, so I decided to do a mohawk for the night, I shaved it off next day..Now I look more like Grizzly Adams..beard and bushy hair again..lol
