    I have been reading these posts on here for about a year now, I did an appl. for Prime and was accepted but due to my wife being almost finished with school and not having a job, i was forced to put it off for a little while. When she is finished and has a job I will be joining the Prime family, it has been very helpful reading all the posts from I.P. and Silent Eagle it has helped me with my decision to go with Prime. I am very excited because she is almost done with school.

    what was it that drew u to Prime inc??
    May you have the good lord blessing as you enter this world of truck driving.
    any advice u have for me that looking at this company very closely??

    What drew me to Prime was the paid training and not to mention they seem to have top notch equipment. I am not a driver yet but I am in I guess you can say the trucking business. I have been doing commercial tires for 15 years and just decided to go with my dream of driving. My grandfather was a driver and I got to ride with him when i was a little kid and fell in love with it then. After reading post after post I am going with Prime there are a few bad apples but the good out weight the bad by far. I also have a guy in the guard with me who works for prime and he loves the people he works with and that is what I want. There comes a time in your life when you just need to go for what you want and it is now.

    Btw I love ur name tomcat : I am huge fantic of F -14 Tomcats.. best fighter jet the US Navy ever had.
    I think and feel the same way u do : if your dream is calling u pick up and pursuit it with all your might and passion. I too have read many postitve posts about prime inc. I was astounded and came to me I really really like this company and want to work (drive) for them .sound like a great advice to me!!

    Greetings Tomcat16,

    That is well said. I also come from a family of truckers (father and uncle) and not to mention I always have enjoyed traveling and road trips across the country driving. Prime, inc. is by far my number one choice to drive for but I also realize that if by some reason I am unable to drive for Prime that there are other companies to choose from. I have learned in my personal journey of life to have various options i.e. plan "b", "c", etc. There are some things I have to take care of here in California before I begin my career as a truck driver, so realistically Spring/Summer 2014 is when I see myself beginning as a truck driver. Best of luck to you in your trucking career and life as well.
