This is nothing here, thread has been dead about 11 years now.
Fuel mileage in semi trucks have improved since then.
Final word. No devices, add on or doodads in fuel. Whatever you designed a vehicle to a particular job from A to B wherever it might be in the USA or the world will give you a certain fuel mileage situation. -
Back when I was young we had things like injecting oil to help lubricate the top end, a magnet in the fuel line to align the fuel molecules, and water injection.
I never tried the magnet, but I did the other two.
The water injection thing was the only one that was useful i some way.
A water and Methanol mix was used in WW2 to increase take off speed in planes, or used in situations that needed a boost.
It was and is used to create conditions for more power, not fuel mileage.
But the bottom line is...
If you can get more power without using more fuel, your fuel mileage will be higher during those times. -
Pittsburgh power now has a fuel additive and from the drivers that I know use it they say nothing but good things I haven’t used it yet but plan on it at the 1st of the year
-
The only real thing that saves on fuel is the driver.

I seem to remember that volkswagon did, but got busted, bib time. lol
There are a lot of things that improve mileage, but they are generally measured in tenths of a mpg or less, it takes several of them together to ever get a mpg out of them.
Most of the time, it would not be worth it to a guy with a one or two truck show.
