Real time update.... Made it to the Road Ranger just 10 miles from pick up in the morning. Had over an hour to spare. Made it to Wal-Mart at 1300. They actually let me in being 1hr and 30 minutes early but that didn't stop them from taking their time. So all in all it was a good day. I'm going to try out this restaurant at the truck stop. In no hurry to get to a mushroom farm early. So probably will leave 30 to 45 minutes before appointment time. I hope all you are having a blessed weekend. Looks like I'll be playing in snow Monday. G night time to get some grub.

Yeah I would prefer to have a fresh 70 when I can. It makes it easier to accept loads. I have decent hours coming off for a few days so that's good. But then I have a day with only 3 hours coming off and that could throw a monkey wrench into things. Also being on mountain time. If you are on the East coast you have to wait until 2am eastern time to start your day, and that could make you late for an appointment. We had to do it that way before they came up with a restart anyway so it just requires more trip planning when you are unable to do a restart. Also I believe the planners will give you a better load if they see you have lots of hours as opposed to the 8 hrs coming off here and 10 coming off there. For us. You usually get stuck on short runs that waste more time with all the city driving and traffic. Just one of those things you have to deal with I suppose.

Made it to Council Bluffs, Ia. Just 8 miles from first stop in Omaha. No parking nearby so I pulled the breaks here. Total load weight is 9,503 lbs. So I'll have fun playing in the snow. Hopefully It won't be 2 bad, but if it does. Slow and easy will be how I roll. Anyway going to check the weather. Then feed my self some of the Good Word form the Heavenly Father. You guys be safe and have a blessed week.

Made it to the Loves in North Platte, Nebraska. Just a stone's throw from the wal-mart that I deliver at in the morning. Arrived at first stop 15 minutes before appointment time. They tell me they stop receiving at 5am and its 5:45 and the appointment is for 6:00. They go ahead and take it off and reminded me to tell the company they start at midnight to 5 am. Took forever then refused 7 cases. So I was late to the rest of my stops but none seemed to care. Was in and out in an hour or less. Think the Fastest was 10 minutes. I have 11 pallets coming off at this wal-mart and then 1 pallet coming off in Grand Island. Was given a pre plan to go pick up somebodies load in Omaha once I get empty and take it back to the plant in Grand island. So that gives me a few more added miles for this week.

    Load miles 136
    MT miles 136
Grand Island to Omaha and back to Grand Island No real apt times just hook and book.

I have 11hr 15minutes left on the 70. I'll be gaining 11hr 31minutes at midnight. So that's good. I'll gain 3hr 56 minutes the next night. So it shouldn't hurt to bad. I hope to be getting a restart soon hopefully a load that has good miles with too much time on it would be great. The hours coming off the rest of the week are not pretty so we will see. Time for some z's. Oh ya didn't have no issue's with snow at all today. Had a few flurries but wasn't nothing to write home about. Night night.

Well Got off all stops this morning. Then headed over to Omaha. Was given a message last night that he would be at the Sapp brothers. So I went to the one across from the Werner Terminal and didn't see anybody. So I called him. He then told me he was in Council Bluffs not Omaha. So went over there to hook and book and now I sit back in Grand Island. The load actually was going to Denver and it was due this morning. So Hopefully another driver with hours will pick it up and deliver it. So ended this pay period with 2408 miles and 5 extra stops so not a bad week. Next preplan

Load miles 874, 0 Mt miles

    Pick up Grand Island,NE 02/27/13 0400
    Deliver Summit,IL (chicago area) 02/28/13 11:00
    Deliver Kalamazoo,MI 03/01/13 07:30
    Deliver Detroit,MI 03/01/13 17:30

Currently have 14hr 9minutes left on 70 Gaining 3:56 at midnight. Then 9hr and 48minutes the next night. So should have plenty of time to do this load. Well that's all for now. Have a blessed day.

Load was ready just 45 minutes after appointment time. I still went ahead and got another hour or 2 of sleep before I picked it up. I been in snow flurries off and on all day. Road wasn't too bad, but kept the speed down to be on the safe side. Decided to pull into the Loves in Illinois for the night. I'm About 100 miles away from receiver. Really no parking around there so will mossy on in between 9 and 10 in the morning. Trying to avoid the crazy Chicago drivers. Well about to hit the showers and get some mickey d's. Then some of the Good word, and off to sleep. Ya'll be safe out there.

Left the loves about 8am and still ran into a lot of traffic. But it wasn't too bad. I was still an hour and a half early and was put right in a door and 30 minutes later. I was on my way to the second stop. Don't have to be there until 7:30 tomorrow morning. So I checked the mileage and I was over on my A service. So I stopped in Gary at the speedco. Then sent a message to get approval. Waited over an hour and called breakdown to see if it was approved. Had to get him to call me back because my dispatcher was out and whoever was taking his place sent approval for wrong truck number. So finally getting service done then head on down the road. Not sure if I'll go all the way to receiver yet. Seems like there might be room enough to park over night. Be safe and have a good day.

Pulled the brakes at Pilot in Benton Harbor, MI. I'm just 51 miles from the receiver. Not sure If I'll hang out here for 8 hours and then go to the receiver or. Just wait till the morning. Only have I think 4 pallets coming off and I'd hate to get stuck behind a couple of trucks who have a truck load coming off. I'm back quiet till next update. God bless
