Don't get caught wearing a blue tooth device at a terminal, and don't call operations while you are driving.

If it's an emergency or you need to call a customer for directions I would just call with a legitimate blue tooth device if I had to. Other than that I don't see why it's necessary to make phone calls while driving.

They have security cameras when you enter a facility at the entrance gate. If you have it in while you are at the gate while you are still driving, they see it, and the fuel desk attendant actually cares that you have it in (doubtful), then it COULD unlikely be an issue. If you are out of the truck obviously they won't do anything. So really, the only thing you shouldn't do is call the company while you are driving cause they can and will check you logbook status.

Talk to wife, family, and friends. How about for companionship, or just to pass the time.

SteveP1977 Make sure you don't listen to the the radio, sirius/xm, or cb as these are unnecessary distractions. :)

Give it enough time, eating, drinking, smoking, and even reading a map, while driving, will end up being totally prohibited, possibly an offense that could get the driver terminated. HOLY MOSES!!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
