Been really thinking about Maverick. Their auto trucks bother me cause I love shifting. But it won't stop me from going to a good company. A few questions. Do they have CBs in their trucks? What else is in the trucks? Fridge, xm radio etc?. Also are they true to their word about home time? I live in northen va. Alongside of 66. How often does frieght go through there?
Thank you and be safe out there.

If you like shifting, relax, you CAN SHIFT the trucks manually. Many of us do- all the time. There is NO CLUTCH PEDAL, so you will grow to really really like that- your leg and knee will too. You must get your own cb- shop will install it for you. Space for a refrigerator that you provide. You can get xm radio- that you supply. Yes, they are truthful about everything. You will get home MOST (NOT ALL) weekends usually for around 24-40 hours- basically for your 34 hour restart plus maybe a little more most times. Our recruiters will shoot straight with you, and should you be offered a spot at orientation- you need to take it. Maverick is an OUTSTANDING organization top to bottom and it will become very apparent to you on the first day that you set foot at the terminal in NLR. You will be in RAT division or LNG (Longhaul Division)- probably your choice. VA is a good place. We go thru there quite a bit. There are a few dedicated accounts that MAY be close to you- BUT- I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO SPEAK TO A FEW OF THAT ACCOUNTS DRIVERS BEFORE YOU TAKE THAT STEP IF EVER OFFERED TO YOU. But first things first- you can't go wrong here, and you will be very glad with your choice I promise.
