really walmart, i guess you dont want my money

so to try to make a long story short iv been running rotella t6 synthetic in the mack that is what the previous owner had been running and i decided to stick with that for now. It is a rather expensive oil however

today i was in wal-mart and noticed the t-6 on display at a discounted price they only had 10 gallons on the shelf. i asked if they had more in the back. id rather buy some cases out of the back rather than clear there shelf. they said no what is on the shelf is all we have. so i asked about ordering a quantity at the discounted price. so they call over a manager. i talk to the manager and they refuse to order me a large quantity of the oil at the discounted price saying they have done it before and then the people changed there mind. i offered to pre-pay for it they declined and the manager started getting huffy and walked off saying you can buy all we have in stock and there are two other Wal-marts in the area i could go buy out there stock as well if i want more.

so i bought all they had witch i probably shouldn't have out of principle. for another id rather leave something on the shelf for the next person that might only need a gallon or two could get some. and yet another i don't want to run to all opposite ends of town to get what i want. I don't need it today but i know ill use it if i can get it on a discount might as well stock up, i would have been just fine to come pick it up after there next truck comes in.

so in short the huffy manager at Walmart just blew a rather large sale for themselves. way to go wal-mart.

 

its on sale right now for $19 a gallon. i would have bought 50 gallons but instead the manager gets huffy and sends me away.......hmmmm really just throw away a $1000 sale ok

 

this was a good idea and i just tried it after i enter my quantity it changes it "We've changed your requested quantity to what is available for purchase now."

witch is 1 for the location that i sold out today (they must have had 1 gallon hiding somewhere or there count is off)

7 at the north location

and

another 7 at the south location.
