I take it you are not familiar with this particular OP? It was his fault. He got out and flagged the guy down, and told him to back into his tractor. I think he was hoping for a worker's comp case, but couldn't quite pull it off. . .:biggrin_25513:

And now I have read a different aspect of the story.

Lonewolf - if you had allowed even more space between you and the car in front of you, how can you be sure the BT would not have cut in front of you just as closely?
Happens to me all the time.

I try to leave room, but someone always cuts right in front of me - I guess to leave room for themselves with that next car.
If they hit the brakes right then, I doubt any of us could avoid a collision.

Well he surely doesn't have enough hair to put it in a "bob"!

    Or would that be "BUN"?

I used to live in Dallas and the rush hour were brutal! i remember a trucker telling me that interstate 635 is worst than driving in new york. Fort Worth I- 820 was also brutal! How i drive in rush hour? i drive slowly about 8 car lenth in front of me and dont care for cars merging en the lane in front of me. Cars will cut you off so i dont hang around them in slow speeds. I would fight the ticket. Front end crash in your dmv will make companies run away from you. Good luck.

It's fine Moose, to be honest I was getting a little laugh out of your missing out on the post containing the rest of the story. Like any professional we all strive to make the roads as safe as possible, but even when we do our best 1 idiot can (and usually does) make the situation dangerous. This thread was started as a means to have a little laugh while I wait for my ride in the hotel room.

I actually figured we would get more flamers who would be outright condemning after reading only the initial post, and given my stance on drivers responsibility, I felt this could be highly entertaining. However, too many of my friends who are aware of my outlook (and as Paul Harvey would have said "Now you know the rest of the story) began posting too quickly!

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.
