I could see teams working if they are husband/wife (or I guess nowadays spouse/spouse) but I sure as heck don't think I could do it.

I am currently unemployed and live with my step-mom who works from home, and sometimes it drives me crazy just to be in the same house! I love her a lot, but I'm ready to live on my own which is why I'm looking at getting my CDL.

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

OP, are you a female or male? Do companies put random men and women together for a team?

Yeah well....i have already been through 5 teammates going on my 6th. 1 person for 8 months and one of us would surely have killed the other.

I would think a company won't mix match sexes? Unless both parties are OK with it

Agreed. OP was on track to make $1100 this week? I CLEARED $1100 last week, was at home in my own bed every night, and had the whole weekend off.

Well, it starts like this. As you approach a truck stop, the cb radio comes alive many times with female (hopefully real female) voices. If one sounds nice enough that you'd like to meet, you ask her to go to another channel.

Now once inside the parking lot, you arrange for her (again, hopefully a real her) to meet you.

She comes up to your truck, and usually stands by your door. you roll down your window and "discuss" the ensuing "get together" and at well, let's say, "monetary compensation". Once that has all been determined, you invite her (again, a real her) into your truck, then the 2 of you discuss the floral arrangements, curtains, or draperies, and maybe perhaps the lighting of the sleeper berth. So you see, for a few minutes of fun, you get all these wonderful decorating ideas, then you kick her out and enjoy some peace and quiet!

What was so hard to understand the first time I said that?

Amen to that! You couldn't pay me enough to team. ...okay, you could but I can't make any promises that the co driver wouldn't be left at a fuel stop someplace. You know, by "accident."
