Receive a ticket

    I have a friend that he receive a ticket because he was going to make a left turn in a tight corner, but the corner was very tight and he had to backup a like 3 time before he was able to make the turn, The police officer gave him a ticket for improper stoping and almost causing a accident and it was a hwy that you see a car passing every 15 minutes, I dont think he was doing anything illigal I mean it was a very tight road to get in and he was just going in there to pick up a load of trees, he talk to the lawyer and they can only get the points taken away, but he want to fight that ticket and demostrate that he didnt do anything wrong, He ask me how can he do it but i have no idea how., Does anybody know what can he do, where to call, this happen in Florida. Thanks In Advanced.

    Don't know about Florida but where I'm from you can receive a ticket for improper backing and making a stop that could potentially cause an accident. Besides what was your friend thinking making a turn like that, on a highway nonetheless, without knowing he could make it. And how he is going to demonstrate to the court that he didn't do anything wrong? Do it again? I feel like your friend is just screwed on this one. Honestly he should just suck it up pay the fine and lesson learned.

    " your Friend" made a bad judgment call, If you can not make the left then go right and find a safe place to turn around and come back through. If "your Friend" can get the points taken off and pay the fine I would go that route.

    if it was clear with good visibility in both directions, and he had his flashers on he was fine, fact is though your always going to run into that cop that's having a bad day takes it out on you...

    I know a guy that got a ticket for impeding traffic he was driving 55mph in a 70mph zone.....so you can get a ticket for about anything!!!

    Yea it was clear, there was no traffic I guess you're right he was having a bad day and decide to mess the day of the truck driver also
