Operating a uniden pc68, basic tune up,with a wilson 1000 mag mount tuned with a SWR meter. On the receiving end, I have alot of backgorund noise that distorts incoming signals,IE voices breaking up and distortion.I get better reception turning my receiving and mic boost down. I had a driver talking to me and my radio reception was very low in volume even though he was passing me on the other side of the highway,(confirmed by landmarks) Any thoughts ?
