I am in flatbed too. I started at Melton, did OTR and only went home every 5-6 weeks. Still I stuck it out 2 years. Yeah it was sucky. But then a better company wanted me. In fact everyone wanted me after I had 1 year. Now I’m happier in a smaller company and the pay is better.

My new company ran advertising on CL. They are a respected company on here and I came here to cross-research. Still, they are running ads. Good companies with better pay can be found on Craigslist.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

I don't know what that means. The website doesn't have anything about company drivers.

In my opinion you should go directly to a flatbed starter company. Melton. Maverick. TMC. Or others. Not Western Express or Prime. Go get 6 months experience. That’s how you get the next job. It’s the only way I know.

    Lepton1 and Mrrepomanaz Thank this.

According to their website Roehl hires out of Pheonix for Flatbed. I'd call and ask them.
