Driving 11 hours is difficult once, yes.

Driving 140k miles in one year is a different kind of commitment. Especially when alone and your family and support are far away living their lives without you. Most cannot do it.

Don't listen to all them BIG all night drivers. I'm not on call 24/7 I drive day time. Don't haul air freight or FedEx UPS unless you love driving all night. Stay away from automotive freight also.

I did long haul refer freight/ food. That stuff let you load and then drive 4-5 days and you can work any hours you want. Driving day time ! Driving out west or cross country is good vs drive the Northeast, that sucks. I used to pickup apples in Wenachee WA and take them all over USA like upstate NY.

Look for a company that their average haul is 1,800 miles that's 3 days of just driving all day.

Don't do food service like Sysco unless you want to get home everyday. That part good but start at like 3am and you have do like 20 stops a day and unload the trailer.

The family part is going to be tough. I am close to mine. I’m worried about a lot of things that go with trucking. Driving long hours at any time during the day or night is not one of them, but I definitely have a sizable list.
