Wondering if any O/O ever hire recent graduate for team driving. I am looking for some real good training. Very flexible on hometime, no dependants. Mature, responsible, cleancut, very good health and very polite.
    Any questions? Any answers? :biggrin_25523:

As posted elsewhere, doubt it will happen due to insurance reasons.

    good luck though!

the reason the huge co's is where you go to get training is because they are the only ones rich enough to be self insured

You might find an o/o trainer in a big company such as US Xpress. I worked for USX as a trainer years ago and I knew some o/o that also trained. However, this was back when USX allowed the trainer/trainee to run on team status. USX later changed their training to a solo-status-only program, which it is not really profitable for an o/o because they would have to pay their trainee wages. Covenant had o/o trainers too. Your best bet is to call one of this big companies and find out. If you hoping to train with a big dog, though, I'm afraid you are dreaming. Put it this way; Who's gonna let you grind gears on his poppy (that's the way they'd see it, no disrespect...).:biggrin_2556:

My first trainer at Roehl was an O/O. Just luck though. Looking through his contract made me not want to fleece purchase from Roehl.
