Looking at the big picture and for the long term, tankers is good.
Can make well over $100G pulling cyro. Most cyro companies want 12 - 24 mos experience.
@superpet39 did this and is very successful.

I’d suggest going to that Pilot. Talk to that supervisor. He’s there early mornings to make sure those guys get out. 2 trucks there. Even if you have to get experience. I think you’d like what he has to say.

BTW... hadn’t heard of Clear Springs? I went to Clear Lake except for Ag. class. Was my favorite class in school.

Yeah and honestly that is my final goal in this industry. I went ahead and got my x endorsement and twic card. Tanker is what I want to do when I get a couple years in. This area has alot of tanker companies. Thanks for the info

Yeah and the reason why is I'm just thinking about the future. All the things going on in this country and also the war in Ukraine idk what's going to happen. With fuel rising and some more issues. Everyone needs food and that could be a for sure stable job for me. Btw freymiller called me this morning and set me up to fly out Wednesday so here goes my journey. Thanks to all your help. I will let you know how it's going

Do your research on Freymiller. All OTR and pay sucks. Especially training for 8 weeks @ 400.00 per week. No hometime while in that either. During hometime, if you don't have room for tractor & trailer...must park at a truck stop or approved site.

If you haven’t started yet I’d call up Schneider bulk. Nice source of safe miles and tanker experience starting. If you are in Heniff’s hiring range they’re probably better pay but Schneider will fly you out from wherever. Or I’d start flatbed. Live a little y’know?
