Hello, I have about 6 months of driving experience. I was driving with Werner, and at the beginning of this year I had a pretty basic rollover. It was downhill, fresh snow, sharp curve at the bottom of hill. The truck (Peterbilt 379) had lost power then slid off road and into ditch. There were no injuries, no citation, not much damage. I was sent home on suspension. That lasted almost 30 days and decided to apply else where. Covenant invited me for orientation after having my application for 3 weeks. So I went to there 4 day orientation. I indicated in detail my accident on there online app and paper app as well. After 3 days, they said I was disqualified. I miss driving, I have no home, and not much of a stable place to live anymore and running outta money. Is there anyone out there thats going to give me another chance? I am looking to run team with my girlfriend.

Until freight picks up, the companies are quite tight now on who they hire. Just a few weeks more.... things should pick up.

Put your application in at every trucking company that hires out of your area. You may get 99 denials but then 1 will give you a shot.

Chances are the outfit will be a small 1 with sunstandard (old) equipment and a lower than average pay scale but its important to get back in the saddle even if its for much less than you were making.
