    I've driving for almost th three years and for the last two and a half years I been pulling tankers and bulk trailers. The work had been consistent but I want something now with better pay and I don't have to be out weeks at a time. Any recommendations?

    I'm not a tank guy, but search Superior Carriers in this forum. Seems like I read mostly positive about them.

    Almost every tanker company has a terminals near you in the Gonzales/St. Gabriel/Baton Rouge area. Trimac, QC, Dana/Suttles, Scheinder and more. Plenty of hiring for regional local there.

    Nalco, Air Products, Praxair, GE Betz, Air Gas, Honeywell, Safeway, grondyke, hazmat environmental, sentinel.

    All of these companies are local or 3 nights or less. And have better benefits and pay than an OTR company

    Continental Carbonic average pay $90K. Depends on the terminal though as to tankers; not all terminals have tankers.
