I've driving for almost th three years and for the last two and a half years I been pulling tankers and bulk trailers. The work had been consistent but I want something now with better pay and I don't have to be out weeks at a time. Any recommendations?

I'm not a tank guy, but search Superior Carriers in this forum. Seems like I read mostly positive about them.

Almost every tanker company has a terminals near you in the Gonzales/St. Gabriel/Baton Rouge area. Trimac, QC, Dana/Suttles, Scheinder and more. Plenty of hiring for regional local there.

@Thull lives near you, and is looking for the same deal. Maybe he's had luck and can chime in?
Any ideas, @Chinatown ?? I don't remember what all you recommended to Thull.Thull Thanks this. -
All of these companies are local or 3 nights or less. And have better benefits and pay than an OTR companyJust passing by, Thull and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
Continental Carbonic average pay $90K. Depends on the terminal though as to tankers; not all terminals have tankers.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
