I'm currently in school to get my class-A in south jersey (I also live in south jersey). I should be finished school by next month (March 2016) and I'm starting to look for a good beginner company to work for. We always have recruiters coming in and giving their presentation on why they're the best company to work for. I'd rather trust an experienced trucker rather than a recruiter who gets paid for each student that gets hired through them. I would like to start regional until I get some experience under my belt. If anyone knows any local companies in NJ, I would really appreciate it . I understand that for the first year I won't make the big bucks until I get some experience but I don't want to get ripped off either.

    NFI in Vineland.
    Watkins-Shepard in Sayreville.

It's better to get some long haul experience in; that's my opinion. With these 3 companies you should have no problem making $50K - $55K your first year.
