Recording keeping/personal assitant

    My best friend is an OTR Driver and I keep up with his personal bills making sure that they get paid on-time. I also keep up with his pick-ups/delivers (such as date & time from dispatch, actual arrival and departures), fuel stops etc. We have worked out a financial agreement between us that has been working for over a year.

    I was wondering if there are other drivers out there that could use this kind of service? I dont want to be held accountable for makeing the actual payments, at least not just yet anyways untill I can get a system going. So if you or someone you know would be interested in services like these let me know. What would be a fair monthly rate? What type of record keeping would be the most benificial to other drivers?

    Hope to hear back from yall. Ive been around this industry most of my life and belive y'all do a great service that most people take for granted.

    Trust (or a lack of it) is a big issue in trucking. There are a lot of shady folks to sell us services and silly things we actually don't need or can't use.

    You're legit, you have a great idea. But if you're not bonded and insured, folks won't do business with you unless you know them.

    Once you get those things it'll drive up your cost. It's still a good idea, lots of us are selling homes and living in the truck. A service like yours could deliver our mail and checks while we're down for a couple of days somewhere.

    Entrepreneurship- good work, it's a great idea.
