So what does this really mean. Have they already done a DAC, backgound check and checked all my references? I know they checked the company I work for now. I just hear so many stories on here about drivers going to orientation and then sent home? Thanks

Did they set up a date for you to be in Springfield for orientation? Even if you go to Springfield you still need to pass your physical, bmi and cdl permit tests.

Chances are you ARE good to go! Bill got a phone call one day after he did his on line app and then an email with all the details from the recruiter. Im not a Prime expert, just letting you know our experience. Good luck:biggrin_25520:

It took about two weeks before I got the green light. My recruiter was awesome.

Thanks for all the advice. I was just not sure if they pull everything before you go? DAC, background, DMV.

I would think that they would. I know my recruiter told me that they pull reports that are good for about 45 days and cost some money. So I cant imagine that is just for employment verifications.

One guy on this forum posted quote "It's set in stone, I'm hired", then went to orientation and just 4 hours before his truck assignment, got the boot. So you are not hired just because the recruiter says "everything looks good".

Besides being a troll and "boo-hooing" everything about Prime... would you care to provide a link to that post?

One guy? on this forum? "It's set in stone, I'm hired" (you sure about that actual quote) should be no problem for you to find it.

Everyone knows you have to pass the physical, and the urine test... if anything, the individual is "set in stone" to attend orientation and nothing else.

Glad to oblige there, U2 Exit. Go to 'Trucking jobs', scroll down to "It's set in stone, I'm hired"......You'll see a thread by 'Cherokee Chief'. His tune changed a little from thinking he was hired to not being hired. My whole point is you are not hired until you finish orientation successfully and get a truck assignment. New applicants don't understand this. They think because the recruiter says "everything looks good", they're hired. As I said before, arrive at orientation, pass the drug screen, physical, road test, background check, interview, etc
