Red antifreeze for cat engines. Why?

I'd have to think it is like todays newer cars and trucks that use the pink or red anti freeze . It does not have to be changed as often and has different stuff in it to protect the metals of todays cooling systems and engines as well . It also has a higher boil point compared to the green anti freeze so the engines can run warmer , which helps produce less emissions .

No. Reason is, it's currently filled with red. Not all colors mix. There made from different ingredients
Nothing to do with boiling point. And even extended life has to be changed normally . It does not mean that you can go longer between changes.
Extended life refers to the engine not the antifreeze
