I don't usually bleed so bad: I bet I smash my head every 6/7th week :/
Two weeks ago I got into the doorframe. And again last week. Yah. 7 years, and all of a sudden I can't get into the truck without crashing my dome. Pillow case was all bloodied up next morning from it bc I didn't realize I rubbed the scab off in the shower.

Mines genetic. Imagine that. My father is about once every other month. My grandfather was about every 3rd week. Always got fresh battle scars :/

I did that several times when I was driving a T8 and W9. That door frame is always lower than I remembered and it's sharper as well.

I have a couple cysts under my scalp caused by that. Not worth the money to have them removed. So I just have a lumpy head now.

Ya when I split myself open in that picture it wasn't even on a corner I went straight into a flat piece of steel.

Wait until you get my age and taking blood thinners. I barely rub my arm and I bleed worse than a lady during shark week....

To the OP...this is what states allow per your route....

Wisconsin.... allows 4 over on the rear
    Illinois.... the same
Indiana... I don't see anything about a specific overhang allowed
Ohio....your ok up to 5ft rear overhang..
penn...Up to 6 is legal on divisible load.

I don't see anything in those states about requiring flags on any over hang.

Well that explains why there's a truck here at Ohio-PA turnpike rest stop with what looks like 6' hanging off and no flags or banners.

    Airborne and cke Thank this.

    Actually I just remembered...
Penn... your legal with 6ft overhang but you must flag anything over 4ft
    Same for Ohio....
Wisconsin you have to flag it if the overhang is over 2 inches wide......So you can be up to 4 off but if its over 2 wide you must flag it....

Airborne, cke and IluvCATS Thank this.
