It is never a bad idea to put red flags on the overhang.
But it is not required if the overhang is less than 4 feet. -
I flag any overhang, when the moron on their phone runs into it I don't want some worthless lawyer to win a lawsuit by putting a thought of negligence into my actions.
IluvCATS, Airborne, spyder7723 and 4 others Thank this. -
Better to be safe than sorry, plus you can never be to careful!!!!!IluvCATS Thanks this.

Our grandfathers must have been very much alike. Mine had a new bruise or scrape every day, usually on his forehead, but he was always working on something so he earned the battle scars. I carry a fairly good size box of bandaids because I could need one about any time.

That's not a green Bible thing it's a state thing.johndeere4020 Thanks this.

No idea what color it is, but Minnesota's bible says it at:
169.81 Subd. 2. (b)
Statewide, no semitrailer may exceed 48 feet in overall length, including bumper and load, but excluding non-cargo-carrying equipment, such as refrigeration units or air compressors, necessary for safe and efficient operation and located on the end of the semitrailer adjacent to the truck-tractor. However, statewide, a single semitrailer may exceed 48 feet, but not 53 feet, if the distance from the kingpin to the centerline of the rear axle group of the semitrailer does not exceed 43 feet.SAR and DDlighttruck Thank this.
