Red HazMat Book...?

    Hi everyone.

    Seeing as how I have no idea what I'm looking for, I figured I'd ask those who (hopefully) know what I'm looking for.

    My husband asked me to stop by Flying J to pick up about 6 Red HazMat books for the crew that he's working with. I have NO IDEA what they look like (my first guess would be that they're RED) and couldn't find them. Is there ANYWHERE else I might find these books?

    I'm not sure about Red, maybe he's talking about the orange Emergency Responce Guide book? Anyhow the newest edition I've seen is for 2008 and I haven't had any luck finding them...checked every truck stop around town and during trips and nothing.

    There is a red hm book. Not sure where you can get them, but i do have one in my tanker truck.

    It all depends on where you can find them most of the ones I've seen are either red or orange and about 6 inches from top to bottom give or take an inch.

    If all else fails heres a link to J.J. Keller pocket books, With hazmat, I was taught to always carry the Hazardous Materials Compliance Pocketbook and the Emergency Response Guidebook.

    Most truck stops carry them. maybe call and ask first, they may not have it on the shelf.

    I have both in my truck and as dca has stated a lot of the truck stops have them but they are not always in the reading material section sometimes they are in the truck accessories section. It all depends on the stop you go to.

    Thanks all for the advice. I guess they already have the orange Emergency Response Guide book. He'll just have to go find 'em himself once he's home. Lol.
