    to be fair, the general public has no clue if the trucks are brand new or from the 80s other than outside appearances. if the truck is shiny and clean then they might assume its new.

    remember, the public just knows trucks are big and oh so dangerous to everyone else on the roads. (ignoring that the general public is small and so much more dangerous to those on the roads)
