I did nothing and called the broker informing about what had happened. The broker was not happy during the conversation, but after was a bit friendlier. Get unloaded with clean bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy. Thanks for the advice and support.

lesson learned should be AS SOON as you have an issue, you call the broker ASAP.

And always get an after hours emergency number too....

Glad it worked out for you....

Just so you know when u have reefer problem around35 f products stop at walmart get something to put two big bag ice in it take tem.recorder from truck put that in the tank filled with ice and close the lid its gonna keep it around 35 to 40 f until u have your reefer fixed .i dont give heads up to the broker they don't care about your station anyway they don't try the convince receiver either .some places theydon't care about the temp recorder letting them know about the temp might unnecessary they gonna find out if they want to so there is no difference when a broker find out what happens and where letting the broker know about temp problems last thing you need to do i lost a lot of temp recorder in my truck depending on who the receiver is

nice tips, thanks. does it have to be buried in ice or just put it on top? but what to do with bills of lading, the recorder is listed on them all the time?

Put tr in a bag bury in ice also i keep temp receiver from walmart in the truck put that along with tr too so you will see what the recorder is recording without opening the box if too cold pick the tr up in the ice this is last resort to save your skin in case of refer breakdown its always better little colder than 20 f extra hat on the recording side

When your repair done replace it back to the product do not do anything with bol if they dont make you sign tr or show you where it is they cant prove there was temp rec .on the truck also they have to show you the tr to put on the truck also do not start it if they did not start and be aware if product in bad shape run reefer continiusly and make sure temp rec working(tr is temp recorder) thats for normal operation tip
