I'm also interested in companies in Gulf Shores area. we are relocating to Pensacola area after we're done with the Gypsy life. We're not committed to any specific town actually, just really like the Gulf Shore area all the way down to Dallas/Chropus Christie area. I'm just hesitant to move to such a red state...lol.

Currently he runs a reefer, but has endorsements and would prefer dedicated regional /local when we settle down. He's interested in the tankers, but not familiar with companies . He has clean record (driving, criminal) and 3 years OTR - 4 weeks out/5 days home . So he should meet most companies requirements.

Any company names to look into or avoid would be highly appreciated!

 

I've lived in Pensacola; plenty of good jobs in that area that pay really well. By that area, I mean Pensacola/Mobile/etc. Stay on the Florida side to avoid paying state income taxes.

@Rambler99 - the reason tanker drivers make so much money is due to accessorial pays + cpm. Tanker drivers get paid for everything they do and in some cases even if they're stuck in traffic, they get paid for that; lots of stuff.
