Good advice Winchester Mag. It really pizzes me off to do it, but i kiss their azzes when at weigh station etc and it has always worked fairly well for me. A guy i work with argues and debates them and he gets a ticket every time...

Drivers hate getting lied to, just the same as cops do. I know when I can bs and when I cant. When an officer knows someone is blowing smoke up theirass, they'll get even by getting the pen out. If they have you dead to rights and you admit it they feel they've won and maybe cut some slack. If they know they're being lied to they'll still win by writing a ticket. I honestly think one asspect of their job they most hate is being bullshitted to all day every day. JMO

Sorry I ran off to the lake or I would've posted it for you.
Thanks!
Isn't your axles controlled by a regulator or are they run off the leveling valve when you hit the switch?
It would be hard to BS a bear with my airride...

most of the fancy O&O trucks with matching reefers are almost always spread axle that I see on the freeway. So, either it works better, or they just like the way spreads look!

...or both

I had a young d**k of a DOT officer in Ohio run me through the wringer back when I was hauling iron. He swore that I had a dump valve switch in the cab since he saw the valve and extra cord on the trailer. After he had me flip all my switches on the dash to check for any air dump he was even more pissed that nothing happened. Little did he know that I had the switches wired up for just this occasion. I had one switch wired to feed the actual dump switch in the dash. So you had to have the intial switch (which was hidden on my lift axle air control valves pedastal) on in order for the second switch to work.
