How Many refer owners here,,, would be interested in a 1400 mile haul that paid $4500 and then you would have to dead head back for another load. Now doubt teams would be better,,, thats 1400 miles loaded and 1400 miles empty! Need 40 loads done this way in 5 days.
??? Refer 40 loads in 5 days

Loading and unloading delays?
Authority?
And the big question when does the O/O get paid? -
you're looking at 3.5 day turnaround at best. so you are looking at 20 trucks and that's only if they need to be shipped in 5 days, delivery of second load would be outside the 5 day window. It's not enough money for me to deadhead back. you'd be better of letting them find return loads, should still be able to get back in 5 days depending on where they go.
I'm making $2 loaded mile running out of that area right now.
my guy is a broker and a trucking company. We could get them moved if they need help finding trucks. Put it this way. You'd have NO PROBLEM finding 40 trucks to haul 1400 mi for $4500. just forget all the deadheading back nonsense -

What im realy wanting to find out is if and how many refer owners here would be willing to do this. Dont need to waste time finding a backhaul load back aint gunna happen. teams would deff be an advantage. -
$3800 for 2920 miles = $1.30
you'r talking round trip
I said it's a good deal for one way but I wouldn't do it ad deadhead back. You will have better luck paying 40 trucks for one trip loaded not round trip.
So you're keeping $700 per load? 15% for pushing paperwork? -
One way $3800 for 1460 mi
Round trip $4500.00 1460 loaded miles and 1460 empty miles.
Paying you 700.00 to dead head back for another load .
Like i said Teams would deff be an advantage. -
got ya. still be better off doing one ways. there isn' that many teams running independant

do they want them picked up in 5 days or picked up and delivered in 5 days? you could pick up two in five days like I said.
You'd have no problem getting 40 trucks for $2.60/mi problem is getting the idiots who think they need 3 days to drive 1400 miles
