Ladder or climb up the back of the sleeper.

Unhook the trailer and get an extension ladder. If there aren't steps next to the reefer that's about your only choice.

I am speaking solely as an old company driver. I don't advise doing any maintenance on that truck that involves climbing. If you fall and get injured this has a way of coming back to bite you. If that reefer is throwing codes call your company and get them to send you to the nearest TK to get this fixed AS well as fix the leak. Most carriers really don't want drivers working on the trucks. So my advice is to call TK and let them do it!

I remember the older units had little steps up front about the size of a flip cell phone ! I never tried them

Long time ago a lot of truck stops had the high rolling ladders.
