Got an alternator not charging alarm on my reffer. The belt is good so probably a alternator.
Hooked jumper cables from truck to reffer battery. Cleared the alarm but within a few minutes the alarm was back on and the light went to orange again.
Anyone with any experience with this?

I have a 5am drop off (10 hours from now) and then a non refrigerated load home.

You should carry a piece of 10 gauge wire with clamps on both ends, long enough to go between your truck batteries positive post and the positive post on the starter of the reefer, just for this kind of emergency.

If you're sitting until tomorrow morning, just leave the jumper cables on it.

Check your positive and ground connections at the starter and block.

And put it on continuous run if not already set that way.

Just put it on continuous and make your delivery. Repair the reefer after you get through with your current dispatches.
