I Never have, but the option is there if I want to make a little extra dollars.
-
good to know. I have my app into Prime now.
-
Very little dollars - 10 cents per case. I have 740 cases on the load I'm pulling now - I'd be paid $7.40 if I unloaded it myself. Prime does it that way because they don't want the liability claim against them if you injure yourself.
Here's the deal - you're better off getting a nap in while the lumpers are unloading your trailer, then you're rested for the next turn at the road. If you do the work, it's also a couple hours off of your 70-hour clock - for very little return - that can be much better invested in getting a hundred miles down the road. -

0Yeah, but they will pay the lumpers $250.00 for the same load.

I would agree with IP... I unloaded a few boxes on a high val load.... the guy said, "pallet jack is over there, put the boxes over here"........

Yeah.... 20 tons of freight, no powered dock equipment, and you get to stack it by product code for around $100? Maybe $200 if you have buku cases?

I'm not hurting my back for 30.00 or 40.00
