Deliver rolls of stamps to St Louis from Louisville. Make just as much driving a little box truck team as I did solo otr.
Not as much as a ups seasonal though.
That's where the monies at for Louisville. Go across the bridge and no union fees but union pay wink wink nudge nudge xD.G13Tomcat and Giuseppe Ventolucci Thank this. -

I recently switched from LTL P&D work to a linehaul position. I am almost embarrassed to admit how much it pays, because these conversations often turn into a ##### size contest and I can't stand when income talk turns into bragging or belittling of others. It is nice that this thread hasn't turned into that.
I make insane money right now, but I am trying to pay off debt and save as much as I can for retirement. I won't be buying a new Corvette with all that extra money. I don't even want a Harley payment, even though that seems like what all well-paid truckers are supposed to buy. The bottom line is that we are all still just truck drivers, and one bad incident can change everything. My income could be cut in half in a heartbeat.G13Tomcat, Danch, sevenmph and 1 other person Thank this. -
Good post, Bob Dobalina.
The thing about local pay is that it has more to do with area than anything else. The same driver could do the same job in one area and make one amount yet make something totally different in another area.Danch and Bob Dobalina Thank this. -
