The primary functions of the Class A CDL Driver are to safely transport cased goods and bulk fluids from the warehouse facility to customer locations locally and out of town and/or pick up and transport supplies from vendors to the warehouse facility or designated locations.

Bad time to come here

Tucson sucks in general for local gigs , now you have a bunch of laid off drivers on top of it applying everywhere. Unless you want to haul dirt and rocks for $14 per hour

Local LTL's rarely hire at their tiny terminals and right now ? forget about it !

As far as regional gigs you have a bunch of choices out of Phoenix that do AZ CA NV and TX . I actually had a decent gig with Legend Transportation doing AZ NV and CA only but it slowed down due to covid19

 

Perhaps driving the refueling truck for Granite Construction is an option.

 

Also try B.J. Cecil or Harvey Trucking. Amado Trucking and Manuel Huerta are out of Nogales/Rio Rico but do a lot of regional deliveries.
