    Hello.I bought 1997 Volvo recently.I just got DOT# and sent appl. to IRS for IFTA .I'm going to SPRINGFIELD IL tomorrow to get the registration.Could anybody give me a rough estimate of the registration cost in Illinois.

    Base Plates vary from state to state, if memory serves correctly IL is somewhere in the $1500-1800/year range.

    Hello.I got my registration and applyed for the title today.Illinois base registration fee-$1375.Foreign jurisdiction(IN,MI,WI)-$610.Title fees-$65.I have progressive commercial insurance(bobtail liability only,1000000 limit)-$450. till december 31st.All of the rest stuff I'm getting from the company .That is all my expenses so far...well there is also 4.5k in repairs but that is different for each O/O.I left some money for fuel,unexpected expen. and so on.

    THose numbers sound like what I expected.

    Having that savings means you are a step ahead of a lot of people becoming O/O's. Good luck bud, keep us posted on how it goes!
