Reitnouer, Mac, or Chaparral? Which one would be the best between these three in a 48'x102" flatbed?

LoL I had a 48' East Step, I loved it, but I needed 53'

I have a big bubba, very stout trailer. The thing I dont like like about Reitnouer is the rub rail its only 2.5 inches nor do I like the snap in stake pockets. If I get another I will go with a Mac.

What are snap in stack pockets?

Reitnouer does not weld the stake pocket to the trailer, the rub rail is welded to the stake pocket, but the stake pocket itself is snapped into place. I do not like the design but have never had a problem with it. they are pushed into a slot and and just snap in.

Mac all the way. They will build your trailer the way you want and I don't know anybody with one that's not happy with their Mac.

Spectd a mac step, price was too high and payments were too high. Just bought an 05 east BST. all aluminum 50000 in a 4ft. Don't know what the tare weight is but scaled with my truck last week with 3/4 of a tank at a shippers and with 8 levers and 9 5/16" chains came up at 31780lbs. Although the truck is heavy. Seems to pull alright although I wasn't impressed with the trailer losing it's arch with only after only 2 bundles of 37ft 10000lb round stock on it. I'm happy with it only thing I don't like is the 22.5lp on the trailer and 24.5 talls on the tractor but that's an easy fix. Had a forklift driver bump it a couple times last friday getting unloaded he hit it pretty hard the last time and it didn't damage anything so I was pretty impressed though livid with the forklift driver. However next trailer my truck will be hooked to will be a mac probably the M80. And those are cheaper than the easts that are rated at 72000lbs in a 4ft. East is over priced and I wouldn't touch a reitnour with a 10ft pole let alone hook one behind my truck the older ones weren't too bad but I looked at one of the new ones and wasn't impressed. Welds on the main beams were sloppy and almost looked like one was cracked on a brand new trailer none the less. And If you don't trust your welders enough to weld a trailer and would prefer it to be bolted to hold strength you're not somebody I'd like to be doing business with. jmho.

Fontaine Revolution is the only flat I would ever buy. Their rubrail design is plain awesome!!! Once you have one, you will never go back to any other style.
