You won't have the same problems hiring on with oilfield companies as you will with common carriers.

 

I just recieved a copy of my DAC last week. Had to call them also. ALL ( good or bad) falls off after 7 years. So other than a company requesting a LIFE report thru the courts I don't see how they find anything out. Most states will only give last 10 years ad CDL/DMV requires.

Only rejected twice. Man keep applying I have 4 pages of trucking companies that I applied to earlier this year. Keep searching

 

i had dui 1993 and it dont show up

 

well i know of a person who had dui 1993 3 failed drug test in 05 and has never been out of work either god was watching over him or the comapny never repoerted his faoled test to any one or the company went out of business not sure how it all worked but id say god had a plan for him cause he is now doing awesome and clean of all things except jesus

 

My advice on the DUI is if truly was dismissed...you absolutely need to have it expunged! If you dont it will always show as an arrest for dui on your record whether innocent or guilty. Look into your state laws.

 

Alcohol offenses will make them avoid you like the plague, esp since if you get caught doing anything wrong while employed for a company (accident, ticket, drug test) it affects the the companies CSA2010 scores.

Before the CSA2010, their concern was (and probably still is) insurance for a risky driver, but that CSA2010 makes things even more strict now. Many companies are now firing drivers now for their 1st ticket, no excuses, due to CSA2010.

There is something on your record. Because 2 alcohol charges from 20 years ago when you're a minor wouldn't show up. It's probably the DUI from 1997. But that was 16 years ago. What does your employment record look like? Were you fired from a bunch of places? Do your old jobs consider you a bad employee? Were you arrested for anything else? Because there is a reason why you were turned down.
