Trucking school only costs around 5K.

 

Getting hired means nothing . Just about all school graduates get hired but most are disqualified , fired or quit within 6 months .
It mas been verified here over and over only 10% of newbies make it in the industry.

 

Your right RickG, but the CDL mills are making a ton of money putting them in a school, knowing they will fail, and making 5-6 K.

 

For what wannabes pay for a CDL mill there are hundreds of other careers with a real future they could train for . Some companies even have paid training for vocations like welding and machinist .
Too many look for a fast an easy trucking job.

 

If they charge 19k for training and won't take you there must be something very wrong.

 

Isn't domestic violence an automatic disqualifier? Where's a DOT whiz when you need one.

 

if you pay 19k for a CDL I've got some ocean front property in Co. I will sell you lol. Really like others said it only cost about 4 to 5K for a CDL. Go to this website www.classadrivers.com and look at all the companys. Start calling them and see what they have to say. Make a call to the Dept. of transportation and ask them about your situation and see what they say. If they tell you it is a problem then you have it straight from the horses mouth.
