help me out here. I am currently sitting at a drop lot with no facilities, waiting on a driver who apperently didnt shut down til like 0000 last night. He's 17 miles away. I arrived at 0730ish.

My pick up info showed my arrival eta as 1001. The sent mac 18 showed more than once that I was available at 0700 today. my last drop was 50 or so miles from this location. I made it to within 20 miles of relay point.
Was I wrong to assume this load was waiting for pick up? Should I , in the future, not arrive at a relay location until the given arrival eta on load info?

Thats the hurry up and wait part. Wait till you get "Workflow". Relays really screw it up. Especially when you drop, and theres no empty. Or someone else snagged it. Hours of fun.

There's really no way to know. Sometimes you show up early and you're ready to go, others you show up late and it's not even ready yet. Just do whatever you think makes sense at the time, if you think it's worth the risk going early, or if you feel like waiting.

    Yes, you were wrong.

On the old system if you're picking up a relay and the listed ETA is after the earliest time you COULD arrive then it is indicating when the load will be relayed.

Not something that is explained to many new drivers.
