The drivers side release hook to roll the rear box into the trailer( on a transfer truck) won't release.
It's air controlled and when I hit the botton I hear movement but no unhooky.
I don't hear any air leaks. Any advice?

Could it be jammed with debris. Rocks etc? Does it look like it is bent or damaged?

It sounds like the rod is jammed in the air pot or the linkage to the prop on that hook has fallen off, prevent the pad from falling forward and letting the hook fall.

Hit the rod up and down with a hammer, if it is jammed that will free it from the groove it is lodged in. If the prop is not falling manually lower it before you release the air to get the box free.

Any thing new on this? Is it resolved, and if so, what was the problem?
