Hi there folks, been awhile since I last stopped in here but thought I'd pick your brains a bit & see if you have any ideas/opinions. I'm gonna be relocating from Ohio to Alabama, I currently have a class b local honey wagon job but I do have a class A cdl but have never used it for a job to date, all I have ever done is tankers for the class b. So I ask, do any of you know of any companys and or suggestions for employment round a bout Georgiana, Alabama area or as alot of the rookies here have asked a company willing to deal w/ sum1 having class b experience but no class a that wishes to pursue an over the road job now?

I'm gonna be moving on a whim w/ no looking back what so ever but I would like to try to nail employment down b4 the move happens. Looking forward to hearing back from the whole lot of ya, thx in advance.

I would think most places would put you through a refresher or training course.

Start checking Craigslist and online versions of classifieds for that area.

Atlanta is a pretty good region for lots of freight..not sure how far away from there you will be.

Not sure about Alabama, but Ohio is a pretty golden spot to be a truck driver.
