Relocating to another state

Any of the others that don't hate trucking...

 

Basically....any other state would be a MUCH BETTER choice (but hey--you knew that one already, right? )....

Past that--ask these questions:

• What type(s) of freight would be involved?
• Where are your customers located?
• Where are desired future customers (if any)?
• What are the desired routes/lanes?

Some companies are moving from Commiefornia to Texas. That's not a bad idea--on the surface.

But be aware that Texas has also had serious power grid issues (and probably will again, in the future).

If I was going to move for trucking I would be looking at Georgia or NC for dry van. Rust belt for skateboard and the meat patch for reefer
