Remote CB mike?

    I have noticed lately,mostly on Petes and KW's,cb mikes coming out from under the dash and the radio in an overhead compartment.How do they do this? DO they just extend the wires and run them to under the dash,or is their a kit ? I would like to do this in my 9400 to get that astatic mike from swinging around,Drives me nuts sometimes.Any help would be appreciated.

    I remember seeing a kit some years back to do that but dont remember where. But you could go a to a good reputable cb shop and they can make you a mic extension just tell them how long it needs to be, you would just have to figure out where you wanted to run it, and how many feet it would take.
