    okay, so my friend has a cdl he has passenger, tanker and double triple endorsement , but he wants to get rid of the double/triple can he go to the cdl dmv and get it removed off his cdl?

    Why bother?
    Never apply to a company that pulls doubles, if "he" doesn't want to pull more than one trailer.

    Shirley your pal wouldn't get a job at Fed Ex and when they tell him to go out with two trailers say, "Ahem, um, I don't have that endorsement any more, but I'll gladly pull a single trailer"

    When you renew a license, just dont check, and tell the person behind the counter also not to check the doubles endorsement box, thats how i lost mine. Lady missed it and poof, it was gone...
