Ok so it’s really easy to remove than. I was over thinking it to much just didn’t want to mess something up. Looks like I can unbolt them but I’m go torch it now and be done

Buy a three pack of the rig dog in case you pass on this truck you can run two other VINs
also, those ramps won’t affect you at all pulling a dry van right? Easy to remove when you are ready.OldeSkool Thanks this. -

Only thing I seen on it was driver violations for overweight on the vin number. 2 different carriers/owners had it
Look like it had a lien on it in 2018 that’s all I see other than that it’s good to goOldeSkool Thanks this. -

If you go with the one with the ramps, be careful if you use a torch to remove the ramps. Protect airbags and any airlines that might get hot slag on them. We were working on my old FLD dump a few years back and thought we had everything protected but a piece of slag missed the welding blanket and burned a hole in one of my airlines. Did not find out until started truck to move it and had massive airleak

I don't know your operation but that truck frame and 5th wheel was designed for those ramps. If you drop and hook much they will come in real handy. without them the trailer will hit the tires when trying to hook up and you will be cranking dollies.
Also the ramps help with keeping 5th wheel divots off the front of the trailer.
I've never considered them RGN ramps. I don't get that part. I do know what a RGN is.dunchues, Speed_Drums and Swine hauler Thank this.
