I gotcha. Mine is an IR. That’s what my half inch is and I wanted to keep the same batteries. The IR takes Two batteries. Doesn’t the Milwaukee only take one? The IR will pop them loose just as fast as air.

I had some that had corroded into little bulbs of corrosion. Love's had to use a torch to cut them off.

I spray with PB blaster, try to loosen or break them off. Otherwise a Harbor freight $10 1/4” grinder, air hose for glad hand. New nuts and bolts. If you own the equipment. New SS bolts, washers, nylon locking nuts. Anti sieze if you really want to get fancy. Must use nylon locking nuts. Regular nuts w/lock washers will get stolen. Lol. Actually they’ come loose, and disappear. Don’t over tighten SS, they’ll get galled together and need to be broken or cut off. PITA. Other choices are cutting the mud flap, make new holes, or just flip it over make new holes. Slap at least 2 big zip ties on it and roll with it. Always can find a mud flap on the back row of the Pilot. Best to grab one and have it ready if needed. All depends on the current situation. Last choice is pay T/A $126. Probably only have to wait 5-6 hours to get into the Shop. Be sure to ask for a free shower coupon.

I torque my wheels at home to 450ft lbs. When it's not a emergency. My 1/2 Milwaukee will remove 40 plus lug nuts or more on one battery when wheels are properly torqued. Makes Emergency service much easier.
My 1" CP air gun is retired to removing other peoples wheels when over torqued.Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Get a torch. I prefer a MAPP gas with a pencil torch.

There's always a way to rig it up to please DOT until you get home. If it's the tractor and you're pulling a trailer you don't need them at all. If you're not careful you'll end up stowing a thousand pounds of tools and you won't be able to find what you need when you need it because it'll be buried under all the other tools.

Michigan gave me a dot inspection. Wrote me for a missing mudflap on Tractor. Had blown a drive tire, lost the flap, mangled the hanger, I had another hanger at home. I questioned him on it. His response was “If it wasn’t supposed to be there, ( no hanger ) it would be OK, That’s how the rules written.” I know he was wrong. Not worth the time and effort to protest it. Unbelievable harassment as usual in Michigan. 20 miles from home. I had just passed a Level 3 in Florida without the mudflap.
