Renewing expired dot physical card

Depends On your state here in WA mine expired cause I was out with a hernia when I was all healed up took my dot went to dmv and my Cdl was good to go

 

In VA and CA you get up to a 30 day grace period, after that, suspension, but re-instatement as soon as you show proof you have been medically cleared

 

My physical has been expired since '10 and I haven't driven a truck since '09. I get to keep my license but it has an endorsement that I can only drive intrastate and not interstate. If I happen to hire on to a 48 state carrier I can get that changed, that's here in Oklahoma.

 

Call your local DMV office. Most States will give you 30 days to get it done before a downgrade occurs, but you can't legally drive Interstate till you're valid again.
