Its that time of year again. May 31- June 2 the American Truck Historical Society ATHS is holding it annual show in Reno at the Grand Sierra Resort. It only gets to the west every 3 yrs so this is your big chance to see hundreds of old trucks and the old geezers that drove them. I am going to be there Fri & Sat nite and I'm thinkin it would be a good opportunity to have a drink or two with some TTR members. Make plans to attend, its a great show.

Dang, Reno is too darn far, but a mecca for old trucks. I was a member of ATHS for many years, even had an "ATHS" sticker in the wing window of my old Pete ( avatar). I attended the 1993 show in Milwaukee, haven't been to one since.

I was heading east on 80 Friday and saw a convoy of those old school trucks. There was a couple old Mack's with trailers with a couple trucks on them was very cool seeing them rolling down the road. Even got them on my drive cam but really didn't come out to good because the medium was quite wide. I'm trying to blow them up but they are just to pixalated

Wish it was closer, would love to go.
When I was growing up, one of the neighbors up the road put on an antique truck show on his property every year. Always enjoyed seeing the trucks going up and down the road in the days prior to and after the show. Neighbor's name was Howard Kirkland, WW2 vet. Had some great stories to tell and one heck of a nice guy.Slowpoke KW, bzinger, Humblepie and 4 others Thank this. -
