Not everyone starts with their dream job, or even a good job. My first job (still working it) is a great first job, but the pay is crap. I have a sleeper to myself, home 2-3 days a week, same run, every week, with only a few extra stops here and there.
The downside is that I work part time on my home time to make enough to be comfortable. -
GiantBeard, I agree with you. I guess you have to like being OTR, I wouldn't do it. There are plenty of local jobs here in LA. I'm planning on getting this trucking job and keep this part time job I have right now. Do you live in Indio?

I pretty much live where ever the truck is. Thermal is where one of our farms are, and where the truck is needed most, but, no one knows where Thermal is.

Maybe he worked for a beverage distributor or something of that sort. Read the criteria for a Class A, and you'll see it's an EXTREMELY broad category.

Sam:
I don't use ticket services. I use my own judgement. If I do something that deserves a ticket, there might be a good chance I earned it.
I find that a good attitude and a little honesty go a long way to getting a second chance with some officers though.
